Makanak Jo is a technical online platform that helps users post and browse rooms and shared housing opportunities and connect housing seekers with listing owners.

The platform is not a property owner, landlord, tenant, real estate agent, legal broker, guarantor, representative, or party to any agreement, contract, communication, payment, visit, negotiation, or transaction between users.

The platform's role is limited to providing a technical tool for displaying listings and facilitating access to initial information. Any relationship, communication, or transaction between users is entirely independent from the platform.

By using the platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to use it and to participate in housing-related communications or arrangements. If you use the platform on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

If you are a minor under applicable law, you may only use the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The platform reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or delete any account that does not meet eligibility requirements or is used in violation of these Terms.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, including email address, password, and verification codes.

Users must not share accounts, use another person's account, or attempt unauthorized access to any account or part of the platform.

Users are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account unless unauthorized access is proven and was not caused by the user's negligence or failure to secure their credentials.

Users must notify the platform immediately if they suspect unauthorized use of their account.

A user who posts a listing is fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, completeness, and reliability of all information provided, including price, location, photos, property description, housing conditions, contact details, and room availability.

The listing owner represents that they have the right or authorization to post the listing and offer the room or accommodation, and that the listing does not violate any contract, law, or third-party right.

The platform reserves the right to review, modify, reject, hide, or remove any listing or content, without prior obligation, if it appears to violate these Terms, harm users or the platform, or violate applicable law.

The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, availability, or timeliness of any listing or user-generated content.

You acknowledge and agree that the platform provides no express or implied warranty regarding:

1. The truth or accuracy of listings. 2. The availability of any room or accommodation. 3. The legality of any rental arrangement. 4. The listing owner's right to rent or offer the property. 5. The quality, safety, condition, or suitability of any accommodation. 6. The identity, reliability, or conduct of any user. 7. Completion of any agreement, payment, reservation, or contract. 8. Finding a room, tenant, or roommate. 9. The absence of risk, fraud, dispute, or harm in any housing arrangement.

Users are solely responsible for verifying all information before making any decision, payment, commitment, or agreement.

When a user requests to view a phone number or any contact method related to a listing, the user acknowledges that any communication, meeting, property visit, negotiation, payment, reservation, contract signing, move-in arrangement, or other dealing with the listing owner or any third party is conducted solely at the user's own risk and responsibility.

Makanak Jo is not a party to any communication, agreement, contract, transaction, or relationship between users, and shall not be liable for any legal, financial, civil, criminal, contractual, tort, or other liability arising from or related to any damage, loss, dispute, claim, fraud, conduct, incident, or disagreement occurring after contact information is displayed or as a result of using the platform.

Users agree to release and hold harmless the platform, its owners, directors, employees, developers, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, expenses, disputes, or legal actions arising directly or indirectly from any communication, transaction, agreement, or dispute between users or with any third party.

The platform may require the user to accept a specific warning or liability disclaimer before displaying a phone number or contact information related to a listing.

Acceptance of that warning is a required condition for revealing contact information. The platform may store an electronic record of the consent, including the date, time, version of the accepted text, listing details, and user details, for security, evidentiary, and legal protection purposes.

Refusing to accept the warning means the contact information will not be displayed through the platform.

Users are responsible for taking appropriate personal safety precautions when contacting or meeting any person through the platform, including but not limited to:

1. Verifying the other party's identity. 2. Visiting properties at safe times and under safe conditions. 3. Avoiding payments before proper verification. 4. Avoiding unnecessary disclosure of sensitive personal or financial information. 5. Requesting a written agreement where appropriate. 6. Confirming the legality and safety of the housing arrangement. 7. Contacting the competent authorities if fraud, threats, or unlawful conduct are suspected.

The platform is not responsible for a user's failure to take appropriate precautions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise within the platform, the platform does not act as a payment processor, escrow provider, collection agent, guarantor, or financial intermediary.

Any payment made between users, including deposits, rent, reservation fees, security deposits, or any other amount, is made solely at the responsibility of the parties involved.

The platform is not responsible for refunding payments, resolving financial disputes, or proving oral or written agreements made outside the platform.

Users must not:

1. Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful information. 2. Post a listing for a property or room they have no right to offer. 3. Use the platform for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose. 4. Impersonate another person or use fake information. 5. Harass, threaten, blackmail, exploit, or abuse any user. 6. Post offensive, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful content. 7. Scrape, copy, extract, or collect platform data without written permission. 8. Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or bypass the platform's security systems. 9. Use bots or automated tools to register, post, scrape, or collect data. 10. Publish phone numbers, photos, or personal data of others without permission. 11. Use the platform to send spam, malicious links, or harmful software. 12. Resell or commercially exploit platform content without permission. 13. Do anything that may expose the platform, users, or third parties to harm or legal liability.

Users may report suspicious, harmful, or violating listings, accounts, or behavior.

The platform reserves the right, but is not obligated, to investigate reports and take any action it considers appropriate, including removing content, hiding listings, suspending accounts, banning users, or cooperating with competent authorities where necessary.

The platform is not obligated to monitor all listings, verify all users, or pre-approve all content. User-generated content does not represent endorsement, approval, guarantee, or verification by the platform.

All intellectual property rights related to the platform, including its name, logo, design, interface, original text, code, database structure, branding, trademarks, and visual elements, are owned by or licensed to the platform.

Users must not copy, distribute, modify, sell, republish, or exploit any part of the platform or its content without prior written permission.

Content uploaded by users, such as listing photos, descriptions, and listing information, remains owned by the user. However, by uploading such content, the user grants the platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, process, publish, and use the content within the platform and for purposes related to operating, improving, and promoting the service.

The platform reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or delete any account, listing, or content at any time if the platform believes or suspects that the user has violated these Terms, misused the platform, harmed users, harmed the platform, or violated applicable law.

These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform, users, third parties, or to comply with the law.

The platform aims to provide a useful and reliable service, but does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from technical issues.

The platform reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, features, or content at any time, temporarily or permanently, without liability to users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makanak Jo, its owners, directors, employees, developers, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or other damages, losses, claims, or liabilities arising from:

1. Use of the platform or inability to use it. 2. Reliance on any listing or user-generated content. 3. Any communication, agreement, transaction, or dispute between users. 4. Errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information in listings. 5. Fraud, misconduct, unlawful action, or negligence by any user. 6. Data loss, service interruption, or technical malfunction. 7. Third-party links, services, providers, or actions. 8. Unauthorized account use caused by user negligence or credential sharing.

If any liability is imposed on the platform despite these Terms, the platform's liability, to the maximum extent permitted by law, shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted under applicable law.

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Makanak Jo, its owners, directors, employees, developers, agents, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, expenses, or legal fees arising from:

1. The user's violation of these Terms. 2. Posting false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content. 3. Misuse of the platform. 4. Violation of third-party rights. 5. Any dealing, agreement, dispute, or transaction between the user and another user or third party. 6. Any legal or regulatory violation committed by the user.

The platform shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, service provider failures, cyberattacks, disasters, government actions, power outages, conflicts, or other force majeure events.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, unless the law requires otherwise.

The competent Jordanian courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of the platform or these Terms, while the platform reserves the right to take appropriate legal action in any other jurisdiction where necessary to protect its rights, systems, or users.

The platform may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, users may be notified through the platform, by email, or by another appropriate method.

Continued use of the platform after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional disclaimer, notice, or policy shown within the platform, constitute the entire agreement between the user and the platform regarding use of the service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable, and the unenforceable provision shall be interpreted as closely as possible to its intended legal and commercial purpose.
